Pigeon Proof Spiking

Spiking is a way of proofing a property against pest birds like pigeons. This is a commonly used technique to stop birds like pigeons from roosting, perching in areas where damage may be caused. When pigeons perch, on window ledges or roof tops for example, there is a danger from their droppings. Favourable places that pigeons perch frequently, often have large build ups of droppings on the floor underneath. This can lead to slip hazards and possible broken bones. Spiking involves attaching plastic or metal spikes, usually around 3 to 4 inches high and any length, to prevent birds from being able to roost on or in london properties.
